Let this Gospel be ever before your heart and in your mind as you live your life: that you may learn to find the strength, the wisdom, and the heart and mind to forgive those who have sinned against you. You have been forgiven by the Blood of Christ; they, also, are forgiven by the Blood of Christ, which you apply to their debt to you. That, Beloved, is how Christians live their life. Let all the anger that you cling to, or the grudges that you hold, or whatever it is that you have against your neighbors, let them all drown away in the abundant sea and ocean of Christ’s Blood and mercy. Let this Gospel sink into your heart and mind and saturate all that you are, that you might truly learn to be a child of your Heavenly Father and be merciful as He is merciful. And, in so doing, you will find it much easier to forgive as you have been forgiven.
